SMARTSOFT ANNOUNCES THE OPENING OF A NEW OFFICE IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC.

CEDARBURG, Wisconsin, December 1, 1994 -- SmartSoft, Inc. is opening a new
software development office in the Dominican Republic.  "Our Caribbean
office will add several new NEXTSTEP programmers to our development team
and will open Latin American markets to us.", said James Pape, company Vice
President. "The move will effectively reduce our engineering costs without
compromising software quality. This translates into savings for our
customers who will be able to retain our services for a fraction of our
current fees. The move also makes us more accessible to our current Latin
American customers" Added Pape.

The new office will be fully operational by December 20, 1994, at which
time we will post new phone and fax numbers to our sales and technical
support lines.  Our corporate headquarters will remain at:
